Why are people so bothered by trans people?

Trans women show us the "rules" of how men and women are supposed to be are not as immutable as we think they are. Their existence threatens what a lot of people think is natural social order.

I'm strongly pro-trans rights and count trans people as very close friends and family. The world is better with them in it.
