Extreme bdsm is a sickness

I refuse to accept it as healthy or ok. It’s sick. Torturing someone or abusing them under the guise of sexual liberation and tolerance is still abuse. How can society condone such barbaric practices? For example beating someone until they have bruises and welts all over their body. I could name other sick acts under the bdsm umbrella but I don’t want this to be too graphic. I guess I am just a prude who isnt with the times I guess. Depravity has come out full force and now is celebrated. I mean I guess it’s a good thing to know how sick the world really is but why normalize sexual violence? What happened to relatiinships based on love and respect? You know since that garbage fifty shades of grey had been out , it has become mainstream. I watched the first movie and read the books just to see what all the fuss was about. Let’s just say I was disgusted by the end of it.

Nobody thinks it's wrong when children have been wailed to the point where they're trying to hide bruises from their teachers.

I can count on one hand the number of times someone spoke up to stop my "dad" from hitting me (Three times).

We have enough on our plates to worry about people who are actually being abused, never mind worrying about those people who consent to that. Maybe, if we dealt with protecting people who are being abused, the number of people who think that such extremes of BDSM are normal would go down, too???
