is it wrong to be insular

insular just means you stick with your own kind and don't associate with people who are different to you....that is me; i'm white catholic and a british nationalist so i just associate with people like myself.....is that wrong?

I don't think it's wrong, but I believe it becomes wrong when one sees him/herself as superior to those who are different or have differences, especially when it becomes disrespectful, hateful, abusive, etc.
