how do you deal with someone who's condescending or patronizing

one thing i really hate is to be condescended or spoken down to by someone, it makes me very very angry! and when im that mad i struggle to think of verbal comebacks....whats the best way to respond?

Depends on the situation. In general I try to focus on the words they speak and take that at face value and not read anything more into it…. Except with my teenagers… 😂
