if people in your local community are unfriendly and standoffish, how should you react

for years now ive had this problem, local people behaving in an unfriendly standoffish manner towards me....like they wouldn't touch me with a ten ft bargepole.....it really makes me feel angry and befuddled as to what to do about it?

at 46 years of age my goal is to develop new friendships or relationships, as i sadly lost touch with my old friends long ago...and my only support mechanism is my elderly parents who live far away....i have a personality disorder too....and i live alone with a solitary life.

what can i do?

People will either love you or hate you, and there's nothing you can do about it. If they don't like you, you can't afford to care, it'll only hurt you inside. So just face life, take it as it comes, and try to do it with a positive spirit.
