if people in your local community are unfriendly and standoffish, how should you react

for years now ive had this problem, local people behaving in an unfriendly standoffish manner towards me....like they wouldn't touch me with a ten ft bargepole.....it really makes me feel angry and befuddled as to what to do about it?

at 46 years of age my goal is to develop new friendships or relationships, as i sadly lost touch with my old friends long ago...and my only support mechanism is my elderly parents who live far away....i have a personality disorder too....and i live alone with a solitary life.

what can i do?

Just be yourself.People will slowly adjust and adapt to you .Its not your problem.Its their problem,that they can’t merge or treat someone respectfully.
