man or bear

"would you prefer to be stuck in the woods alone with a random man or a bear?"
have you all heard this dumb popular question now asked to women?

i will ask it regardless, with the purpose to make fun of your answer if you actually would pick a bear haha

seriously though, this question is now asked to try and pretend like most men would harm a women if both are alone and the bear would be the more harmless option. Thats where we are now with this sexist nonsense towards men.

I've seen it and still don't know what does being stuck in the woods mean. The last time I checked, a forest has uncountable entrances and exits.
Is it a night and I'm in a tent while there's a random man or a random bear outside?
Am I in a cave and can't leave it because there's a man or a bear blocking the entrance?
Am I on a tree? Both men and bears can climb trees.

@CrazyMusicLover ok, well make it lost in the woods instead. the woods part is not important. Its basically would you rather be stuck around a bear or a man?
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Torsten No, I think it's the crucial word that itself indicates some sort of danger, therefore might suggest both the bear and the man are dangerous in that situation.
If the question was: "If you were in the woods, would you rather want to encounter a man or a bear?" My immediate answer would be a man because I met a man alone in the woods uncountable times. If I saw a bear, which lately is believed to be a real threat here, I'd be very concerned.

@CrazyMusicLover no only one choice actually implies danger. The man choice, has no implication of danger at all. People just try and spin it that way to justify their hatred towards men. Thats the point of the question. Its to show that women have this unrealistic idea in their heads that most men are out to hurt them simply because they are men.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Torsten Omg, how did you even come to that conclusion? Meeting a bear doesn't have to automatically mean you're in danger. A bear normally wants to avoid people. It's only if you surprise them or when they protect their cubs when they are a real threat to people. The only exception are trash-can bears who lost their fear of humans and deliberately come to cities to feed on human food and they rather pose a danger outside the woods anyway. So neither has automatic implication of danger, it all depends on circumstances and the question being asked that ways automatically suggests there's something bad going on if you're "stuck" in the forest.

@CrazyMusicLover because you are always at risk when around a bear, even if it does want nothing to do with you. Not the case with males though.

you come across any predatory animal and you are at risk. Its idiotic to assume otherwise.
No the question does not automatically imply danger for both choices. Very telling though that you came to that conclusion though

@Torsten Then explain what does being stuck in the forest mean.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@CrazyMusicLover it means just that. The question is not about being in the woods. You're getting stuck in that irrelevant part of it. The question is centered around the man and the bear
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Torsten It's not irrelevant. You don't get to stuck in the woods just like that. It's simply not a normal situation. Or do you get stuck in the woods every weekend? 😂
If you're asking me a question like this, I need to picture the situation, so how on earth can this part be irrelevant?
Torsten · 36-40, M
@CrazyMusicLover i asked the question, so yeah i get to say what is irrelevant in it or not. Dont like that, well ask your own question.

Take the woods out of it since you're so obsessed with that part and replace it with being in a room
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Torsten Being stuck in the room makes much more sense and also a clear answer, as bears would most certainly get scared and aggressive in a confined space. So I'd definitely rather be stuck in a room with a man than a bear.

@CrazyMusicLover okay glad there is finally a conclusion to this lol
