I once read a story written by a woman from Sudan who said her grandmother said the TV was going to be the ruin of their community.
Why, because she said that before the TV they would gather around the village in the evenings and talk to each other and tell stories.
Now she said people gather and watch that box and dont talk to each other anymore.
I remember my best times as a child was listening to my grandparents tell their stories.
