I just saw a video where Sadhguru had a brain surgery..

I haven't been liking him much the last few years although I loved him in the past, but nevertheless I felt truly compassionate towards him. I thought of how much service is he doing to the world and how much work he's doing. I think famous people have a lot to handle and no given credits will ever be enough...

It's easy to feel compassion for Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev after his recent emergency brain surgery. The 66-year-old spiritual leader and founder of the Isha Foundation underwent the operation after suffering from life-threatening bleeding in his skull.

It's reported that Sadhguru ignored symptoms leading up to the surgery, including severe headaches for four weeks, choosing to continue with his daily schedule. This included conducting the Maha Shivaratri function on 8 March. However, by 15 March, the pain had worsened and he consulted a senior consultant neurologist, Dr Vinit Suri, who immediately suspected a subdural haematoma. An MRI revealed massive bleeding in the brain—evidence of a chronic bleed lasting three to four weeks, as well as a fresh bleed within 24 to 48 hours.

Despite the dire situation, Sadhguru delayed his admission to hospital, attending important meetings and events on 15 and 16 March. But on 17 March, he developed a decline in consciousness and was admitted to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, where he underwent emergency surgery within a few hours.

Fortunately, the surgery went well and Sadhguru was soon recovered enough to be taken off the ventilator. His brain function, overall health, and vital signs steadily improved. And, thankfully, he's been making a good recovery since.

It's heartening to hear that so many people showed concern for Sadhguru's health, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, other political figures, and celebrities. His daughter Radhe Jaggi also shared a health update, reassuring the public that her father was doing well.

Soetimes famous people really do have a lot on their plates, don't they?

@Lilnonames it's that, when you're famous your power is amplified. So your good deeds have greater impact. But your mistakes too
@elafina Very good point.
