Why are people keep blaming "the patriarchy" for a lot of things?

I've seen a lot of people, mostly women all over social media, complain about how the patriarchy ruins things and have no clue why. At this point, it's annoying. 🤦🏾‍♂️

I want to hear from y'all.

Patriarchy is bad because it uses social pressure and sometimes even law to restrict what people can do based on gender. That's not very based.

I'm actually pretty optimistic about this, since it seems that the Zoomers care very little about gender roles.

@BohemianBoo I read some of the advantages and disadvantages of this. Although I like the fact that there's things us males can do, I can also see something wrong with it. But I was sitting here thinking, "Wouldn't this be similar to feminism?". That I'm still not sure of.

@BohemianBoo That I need to think over. But the best I can think of is for a lot of men to be in their masculine role and women in their feminine role, as well as having equal rights. But how can this happen if there's no benefit of equality nowadays? Not sure if this answers your question.

Feminism is about choice. You can be in your masculine role, whatever that means to you, but not every man has to be.

@BohemianBoo Our society is just so clouded to the point that even if you want equality, there's something that can ruin it. Some people might have to accept it, others won't. Which is why I find stuff like this very annoying...
