Why do humans care how often other people have sex?

Curios. I come across a lot of body count debate online. I can’t help but wonder why others are so invested in a sex life they’re not involved in???

When I was dating, no one ever asked my body count and it never even occurred to me to ask. Is this a new phenomenon? I’ve been in a relationship for 3 years.

hmm,, body count has been a thing for a whilee now, idk why it matters. it’s a badge of honor for men, but something to be shamed with for women. so it’s a double standard af.
