Can't argue with both. 🤷🏾‍♂️

If you get it, then you get. If not, I'll explain.

@Emosaur But literally by definition a biological woman can't be a transgender woman... only a man (guy) can be. The trans signifies that a male has taken on the gender identity of female, hence being a transwoman?

@Emosaur Well ok, whatever term for woman you want that isn't 'real woman', I'm trying not to say the wrong thing. I think you see my point? I am very aware of the difference between sex and gender. They are both relevent here.

@Emele The distinction shouldn't be necessary.
Post surgery the biological markers are even less relevant.

@Gloomy As far as 'passing' and in everyday life that is fair I'd say. I do disagree where transgender entry in to sports of the opposite sex comes in to it though (as has been pointed out, sex and gender are different)
Gloomy · F
@Emele The sports situation should be individually assessed because a fully transitioned trans person wouldn't have an advantage anymore.
Since trans athletes are a minority in a minority the issue is minuscule.

@Gloomy That's not my understanding but appreciate the responses, thanks

@Emosaur someone who was born female (not 'assigned' a sex at birth) and stays female

@Emosaur students get assigned homework. employees get assigned work. people can take it or leave it.

assigning gender? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! who does the 'assigning'? nurse? doctor? someone's 'God'?
Gloomy · F
@RileyLandS it is called "assigning gender" because it assignes a gender based on sex and since at this early age gender just cannot and hasn't formed yet it is reasonable to assign it but we should keep in mind that this doesn’t have to be correct.
