Things were much simpler in the early 2000s then nowadays people weren’t offended easily back then like they are nowadays easily offended by anything

I come from a different generation of society being a 90’s kid people weren’t offended by everything and anything back then but nowadays people get offended by the slightest thing

People weren't easily offended? Maybe other people weren't so brash, tact less, rude, outwardly bigoted, outwardly self possessed, impatient and/or believe baseless conspiracies in the recent past.
Seems these days, being offensive is a badge of honor that morons wear with pride.
