Children aren't allowed to be children anymore.

I believe children should be allowed to have a voice, opinions. No child should have to suffer in silence.
Children should be allowed to be happy, and be listened to.

However, I don't agree with parents who influence their childrens choices.
Let them figure it out for themselves.

Don't subject them to anything they can't possibly process properly. Growing up is tough enough as it is.

Just be a responsible adult/parent.

Not difficult.

I'd put society's decline due in larger part to lack of parenting and discipline rather than an over obsessive control of children and their choices

@BeefySenpie And of course, you completely ignore the societal factors that contribute to a "lack of parenting." Maybe if people didn't have to work 3 jobs just to pay rent, they could parent their kids more. But if anyone says that the solution is raising the minimum wage and taxing billionaires, they're called a "socialist."
