Children aren't allowed to be children anymore.

I believe children should be allowed to have a voice, opinions. No child should have to suffer in silence.
Children should be allowed to be happy, and be listened to.

However, I don't agree with parents who influence their childrens choices.
Let them figure it out for themselves.

Don't subject them to anything they can't possibly process properly. Growing up is tough enough as it is.

Just be a responsible adult/parent.

Not difficult.

@SatyrService True. Even if your child doesn't have a smart phone, their friends do. They are sharing and discussing the things that some of their parents have their head in the sand about.

@SatyrService I disagree strongly social media has help me connect to people I would have never met it is only if they become obsessed with it then they need to take a break

@SatyrService In a perfect world, yeah people could shelter their kids from things BUT there ain't no way. It is not possible to watch kids 24/7. We all used to sneak behind our own parents' backs to do things we were not suppose to.
