Not just a member - a CITIZEN!

SW-User
@Budwick I was born in the US, but not proud of the history.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@SW-User That's what I thought.
Everyone has a past.
Try to be part of a brighter future.
SW-User
@Budwick

I can get you a hose to rinse the blood on your shoes.

Bright future my ass.
originnone · 61-69, M
@SW-User There's a lot to be proud of too. I basically agree with you, but I think people can disagree.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@SW-User Pretend tough guy.
predictable.
SW-User
@originnone sure, just don’t ignore the reality of how we got here.

Facts are damned stubborn things. Opinions are great though.
originnone · 61-69, M
@SW-User I agree with you....I also think there are some great things that have happened in America....MLK, storming normandy, I could name dozens, but the blood on our hands is unclean able.
SW-User
@Budwick nope , just a realist..
Budwick · 70-79, M
@SW-User I drove my Honda.

And you?
SW-User
@Budwick they still let you drive?
originnone · 61-69, M
@SW-User Oh, stop....we all get there....
Budwick · 70-79, M
@originnone We've got some history. Some of it dark and sad.
I don't know why some want to try and erase it.
SO, be part of a better future.
Nothing will change what ever it is you are pissed about.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@SW-User Yup - and I think I'm done with your condescending ass.
originnone · 61-69, M
@Budwick I'm not angry. I took a class in African American history and have been studying it for a few years now....If you don't feel some shame after that, you don't have a soul.....strike that...I don't believe I have a soul...but you get my point.
SW-User
@originnone I am giving what I am getting.
SW-User
@originnone his response should be earth interesting.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@originnone Yeah - a sad part of pour past.
We even had a war to get it resolved.
The good guys won and it's been getting better ever since.

I have nothing to be ashamed of.
SW-User
@Budwick Jim Crow laws were better?

Lynchings were better? Voter literacy tests were better? Internment camps were better?
originnone · 61-69, M
@SW-User In fairness, I think the answer is a solid yes,....but you made your point....
Budwick · 70-79, M
@SW-User Current law and honest enforcement in todays world.
SW-User
@Budwick where is that happening?
Budwick · 70-79, M
@SW-User America.
SW-User
@Budwick in your town of 1200 people and 2000 cows.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@SW-User You got a problem with small town America?
originnone · 61-69, M
@Budwick I grew up in a small town in Indiana - famous for having lynched black men trying to make it to freedom.
