Absolutely not.

@CrazyMusicLover what are the negatives about your country?
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@SW-User Corruption, nepotism, hateful people, racism, glorifying of criminals, idiotic laws that allow the judges to send an elderly man who grew weed for medical purposes for 15 years and release an upstart swine that has killed 3 people in the city center driving a car at 100 + km/h.

@CrazyMusicLover is anyone trying to change any of this, or are they in the minority / it is an uphill battle?
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@SW-User The government is a bunch of clowns that are either corrupted swines trying to leech as much as possible for themselves and get off the power they have over people, religious fanatics or incompetent buffoons. One of the few people I still respect is our current president. She seems to be a decent person who actually tries to make things better.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@SW-User Oh...the former government...Now there's temporary government.
@CrazyMusicLover Until you said “she” I assumed you were talking about the USA.

@CrazyMusicLover it looks like populists are leading in opinion polls ... I don't understand people ...

Do you think it is better off alone rather than in a federation with its neighbor? Do older people say whether or not things were better or worse under communism?
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@SW-User Yes, it looks like it. The scariest thing is that a lot of people seem to be attracted to hate speech, vulgarity and primitive behaviour, like third-class pub drunkard primitive behaviour. Perhaps it's familiar to them or something...

Which neighbour? Certainly not the southern one. 😆 Old people are divided. Of course that a certain part of working class will always glorify socialism because they don't have means to thrive in capitalism. They want to be told what to do and what to think. It's mostly educated people who take into account more than the basic needs who say it was much worse then.

@CrazyMusicLover possibly most humans are just glorified apes, though it's difficult to understand why some choose that condition while others do not, when we all basically have the same DNA

I meant the northwest one ... which one do you think has fared better since the split, or have both essentially had the same post-split experience?
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@SW-User We've always been historically behind. So of course they fared better. They're culturally forward, I would say. But in my opinion not splitting wouldn't guarantee anything. Maybe it would end up with even stronger centralization in West and the overall neglect of the East.

@CrazyMusicLover I suppose I am naive to hope for the entire species to finish evolving so we no longer need multiple states on one planet, when there are millennia of empirical data making this seem very improbable

@SW-User Humans are pretty deplorable. I'm not sure why we want to save humanity so badly.
