This is by the PEW research center dated 2015. Adding it up it comes to 66%. Christianity being the largest group at 31%. As trends go PEW estimates that unaffiliated will become the norm sometime between 2050 and 2070 in the US.

The list's own heading says it's a list of [i][b][c=BF0000]religious[/c][/b][/i] populations. Its authors believe 15% of people who say they are religious claim no affiliation to any specific creed.
No knows what will happen to the earth or its population tomorrow, let alone 2050.
