What would you do if your best friend got you fired?

Let's say that you have a traditional 9 to 5 Job. It pays well and your grateful that you never struggled with paying bills. Your best friend is a artificial intelligence engineer and used your work data to create a system that can do your work but faster.

Your boss starts cutting your hours and eventually moves to your paycheck. Your friend tells you that this is AI advancement and you'll eventually find another job. - what would you do?

I would not only be devastated from the loss of income, but psych;ogicaly speaking, it would really affect me negatively. Knowing that I busted my butt for years, only to get fired due to AI replacing me would be just too much to accept. I think there's still a human aspect to my job, but I could potentially see my job cut to only a few hours per week. I think I'd ask why my AI friend did that to me and wait for an answer.

I was hired by my father because i was actually cheep and had the exact same Qualifications as the last person they had hired, then 18 months later i was fired because of his choice to hire me..... SO as someone who has been through this i feel like crap that he was fired for hiring my worthless ass....
