Something I'm personally against is any forced acceptance of any view on the matter. Nothing should be forced down someone's throat especially when issues arising from the subject matter can be highly complicated. In that sense I see the logic of even allowing exceptions in policy concerning some people vis-à-vis, for example, their incarceration even when it goes contrary to the policy in place
