Why are there more men than women on this website?

I noticed that there seems to be more men than women on this website. My question for everybody is why are there more men than women on this website? I especially welcome my fellow women to give comments about the lack of women who post. Let the debate begin! Please explain why some people are complaining that there are only catfish and men on this website!

I'm not sure there are that many more male members than female, but it does seem the men are more active (not OP's, but in comments). Too, generally speaking, women seem to post more in depth thoughts, more personal stories/feelings, ask more probing questions and seek to connect on a deeper or at least different level than men. I'm guessing there are great many more women who lurk about than we are aware of and/or who post mostly or even exclusively in certain groups.
