What would you in this situation?

Let's say you work 12 hour shifts where you work in a gold mine and your wife ( who's unemployed but stays home because you guys have two babies and can't afford daycare) one day your wife passes out.. you discover that she's been starving herself so that you can have more food on your plate.

You are given the opportunity to make money as a magician. The pay is enough to buy food for everyone so you and your family won't go hungry but being a magician is dangerous.- would you still do it?
