Did your teacher allow you to use the bathroom?

There's so many stories about students being denied bathroom breaks and having accidents ( myself included) and it's really messed up because I feel like they're taking away a basic right from the kids and it's humiliating. Have you guys ever experienced this?

Absolutely, 5th grade I believe... we had a substitute teacher (so she didn't know us, nor our personalities)...

Suddenly, I really really needed to use the bathroom... but we had a quiz or something... and the teacher said no, take the quiz first and then I could go to the bathroom.

Well, I'm a slow test taker... and let's just say I couldn't hold it long enough... and everyone had a sh!tty experience from that classroom smell...

I was able to hold it in long enough to only make a mess in the bathroom and on myself...

I went home early that day, and I wanted to take the next month off...

My parents told me don't ask just tell the teacher I am going because what can I do if I ask and they don't say yes

Yes it we didn’t carry a bottle of water everywhere with us like they do today.
