generally speaking men do what is expected of them, no more and... well, I almost said no less, but that often isn't true. Anyway, men do what is expected of them and there really isn't any reason to think anything different will happen.
Expecting them to change without communicating that expectation won't work, and even then it is going to take a few generations to get the message across. Once a man sees his father being a full participant in raising children and doing what is needed around the house, his expectations will change.
So, and don't get me wrong, but until women demand full participation and teach it to their children, nothing will change.
