1. Amir is 16 years old. As a small child he was rescued from his village by two people who eventually adopted him. Unfortunately, they trained Amir to be a thief and now he regularly robs houses, stores, and beats up anyone who interfaces, even women. At some point Amir beat up a women, broke her arm, gave her two black eyes, a bloody nose, then tied her up and left her in the closet.

Amir enjoys robbing people because his adoptive parents praise/hug/ cuddle him and tell him how good he is. He wants to make them proud, so he does whatever they say.

2. Michael and Eric are 17 years old. They're demon slayers and mostly work together. One night while fighting a demon, the fight got intense and Eric was terrified for his life. He ran away and hid, leaving Micheal to fight the demon and protect the children alone.

Unfortunately, the demon killed Michael and the children. Eric stabbed himself and lied to his family about what really happened. He was secretly happy the children died because now no there was no proof he lied.

Michael is worse. Amir sounds like a severely traumatised child who's upbringing if that's the right word has been marked by abuse, he probably has little understanding of what's right or wrong.
There's no evidence that Michael has experienced long term trauma and although his running away was due to fear and he was fighting demons, he probably has the ability to make good decisions but is still choosing to lie and is glad the children are dead.

Why am I wasting my time with this lol? 😂
