Media is the biggest culprit.
We live with a disproportionate amount of easily influenced copy cats.
If you doubt it just look up copy cat culture or media generated suicides.

@Dainbramadge I don't have to look it up, i believe you are correct. i still think that it is a plot. But the fact that these people are investigated publicly and in depth looks are done about these people's lives...that has got to boost interest in committing the crime

@DIABLISS History repeats itself? I do believe we are in a society, saturated by media, that creates tragedy. Preying upon young minds, sometimes without a role model, but I'm not even sure that is entirely the case - I'm happy I didn't learn this at a younger age, but creating a crisis draws attention.
@SW-User I am glad that going into a classroom and shooting people was not in when i was in school. it would have happened constantly at my school.
