Why do we live in an age where boys want to be girls and girls want to be boys?

I'm not against anyone, just want to know how one may think that he's born in the wrong gender and the grass is always greener on the other side.

It’s not a new thing by any means. It just seems more people are discussing it openly.
Also, I don’t think it’s a matter of thinking the grass is greener, but rather knowing who you are inside and wanting the outside to match.

@BananaBrown yea but we're all the same from inside. Who are we to assume if a girl should be quiet or a boy to be rough. Only When we start excepting that we make people hate their genders

@Hassan I agree that there shouldn’t be strict rules or ways of thinking as to what is socially acceptable for girls/women, boys/men, or anyone else. It should be individual choice to express themselves as they see fit.
