Do you think the goal of society is to reduce its citizens suffering?

If so I think an initiative should be made to eliminate bed bugs. Indeed, there is an exact shape of pottery that attracts and traps them and other pests too. Such pottery is placed at the inside of entrances to ancient palaces, temples, and in some cases castles and mansions. My city is one of the oldest in America, and there are several houses with permanent bed bugs; 30+ years of infestation. Only in creating and distributing this kind of royal pottery can bed bugs and other pests be removed at be gotten rid of in all places virtually no cost. Thus reducing suffering.
