@Torsten It's a fear of trans people.
The concept of being trans is so simple, I don't believe people actually don't understand it. It's like when Steven Crowder says we shouldn't teach children that gay people exist because homosexuality is too complicated. Like that's obviously just fear of the gay.

@BohoBabe I am not afraid of transgender people and saying men can only be fathers and women can only be mothers is not transphobia. Its a fact

@Torsten So if you're being honest here, you're misunderstanding what being trans is.
Biological sex is male and female. Gender, which is cultural, is boy/man and girl/woman.

So if a male is assigned the boy gender at birth, but then decides to identify as a girl or woman, she can be a mother.

sex is reality and gender is delusion if you want to split the two into different things

@BohoBabe had nothing to do with trans people and everything to do with certain mothers last year when I wrote it them trying to claim fathers day was about them because they are both a mother and a father.
Again nothing to do with trans people but yall love to make everything out to be transphobic

Saying society assigns genders is ridiculous. Biology determines that and I know you will try and counter that with the tired gender and sex are different debate and again before you get that far i will state again if you wish to separate the two i will say sex is reality and gender is fantasy

@Torsten I feel like you're being bad faith now. You're saying that society doesn't assign gender, but then you're also acknowledging that sex and gender are different.
So sex is assigned by biology, we agree on that. Where do you think gender comes from? Most gender traits have nothing to do with biology, plus they've changed throughout history and they're different based on culture.

I agree society pushes men and women to different paths for sure but again I do not agree with sex and gender being two separate things

@Torsten It sounds like this is just semantics. If you acknowledge that biology determines physical traits, and society determines cultural traits, then you do believe in a difference between sex and gender, you're just not willing to use the terms accurately.

@BohoBabe I know what the hell it means, I was saying that there's not since thing as labeling or "assigning" a child as a boy or a girl they ARE a girl. The only people who use labels are the alphabet people.

@Chickie No, they are male or female. A baby isn't aware of gender identity or the traits that define gender.
