Hm. Not sure. It's a different world now; better some ways and worse in others isn't it?

Still a harsh world now, it's just that everything is - on the surface - safe and sanitised 'for your protection'.

Maybe street talk and the law of the jungle don't change that much with time. Lord of the Flies stuff. People are nasty. Kids especially so.
