how can you handle having the odd noisy neighbour

on the other side of my bedroom wall there is a prat who likes to play shitty worthless rap music from time to time, and the walls here are so thin, i can hear that shit in my apartment and it disturbs my peace...i hate rap music.

i want to know what are techniques to live with someone doing that? when you don't like it.

I have a similar problem; so, when their child start running around like a crazy devil, I blast music using loud speakers until the noise eventually stops.
Works every time, but I am saving to move to a detached house...
