how can you handle having the odd noisy neighbour

on the other side of my bedroom wall there is a prat who likes to play shitty worthless rap music from time to time, and the walls here are so thin, i can hear that shit in my apartment and it disturbs my peace...i hate rap music.

i want to know what are techniques to live with someone doing that? when you don't like it.

- suggest they use headphones to listen to music
- buy noise-cancelling headphones (i use noise-cancelling headphones 24/7, in bed and while working, no one can disturb me!)
- try to get other residents involved and pressure the landlord to do something about it
- hack their bluetooth speaker if they're using one
