Lots of people who don't really know much about a particular subject but for some reason are able to convince others to listen to them are creating echo chambers facilitated by the internet being accessible to anyone regardless of intellectual capacity.
Ignorant but highly charismatic is a very dangerous mix. I guess charisma is not reserved for just the intellectuals.
My real question is what are all the intellectuals doing? Why are there not more intellectuals speaking up on issues.
I guess it's possible many intellectuals are smart but lack a backbone or charisma.

@SW-User Yes but perhaps your civil and secure behavior with them can teach them a thing or two about behaving more secure and less tribal.

@SW-User Perhaps the best thing is not to stop talking to each other but to learn new ways to communicate with one another.

@SW-User As human beings I don't think we should ever stop talking to each other. It is essential we talk to each other because we need each other.
