Standing by the Window

Thinking, “how the hell did my life turn out like this?” Watching the kids walking home from school, and wondering what their lives are like...how do they feel? Then thinking how it must be for a white conservative kid to be faced with all that Woke BS every school day. It must be depressing. Wokeness is very oppressive and suffocates creativity and critical thinking skills. It may suck being old and alone, but I don’t want to be young and growing up in modern society. I wonder which of us is the most fortunate.

What does woke mean exactly? I see and hear that word all the time especially on here but not sure what the heck it means

@CestManan It's a term used for anybody who embraces all the new...(I'm struggling for the right descriptor here)...sexualities, genders, outlook on ethnic minorities (I'm still struggling and this is not 100% right)

@GeniUs so what is the proper word for those of us who live our own lives and don't concern ourselves with how others live?
GeniUs · 56-60, M
@CestManan I don't think there is a specific word, perhaps the woke people have a word for people who aren't woke but I haven't heard it yet.

@CestManan Aggressively liberal, sensitive, vindictive and humorless

Here are some words: Sensible. Living in reality, using reason and logic. Using critical thinking skills. These qualities are the opposite of Wokeness. @CestManan I said “sensible,” but just think, “common sense.” That’s the best term to describe the Not Woke.
