Definition of poverty in the USA is you have a smartphone, cable tv, and a car with a full ebt card.

@MasterLee oh ok. I’ve heard of food stamps on tv

No different than those who wear $1000 outfits or handbags but can’t put food on the table or pay child support

It’s all about looking rich no matter who suffers

Why do my clients as a financial counsellor have all of the latest, phones, TV's and rent items when they cannot afford them
BigBulge · 46-50, M
It has nothing to do with affordability.
Believe it or not, some people think that they don't need to use deodorant, that they don't STINK.
@BigBulge Very true. And they might figure that as long as contact is via phone, it doesn’t matter. 🤭

Phones are valuable than personal hygiene.

@Lulujeans Welcome 😊
They can’t afford deodorant ? Or apparently don’t see it as a priority ? 😅

My phone was $2100 but I can afford it. Wants don’t come before needs.
