If we...........

If we close our eyes when we kiss to eliminate all distractions and focus on the one person were with, why don't we do that all the time?
Why have all the "eye candy"? Why have distract yourself even for a second on other people? Why not just focus on what matters?

We close our eyes when we kiss because looking at someone is nonverbal communication for "I'm expecting something more from you". Closing your eyes is to say "this is what I wanted; I'm enjoying this".

Tell me if I missed the point of your post lol.

@SinlessOnslaught You're close, but you bring up a good point. That "body language" does show that and I didn't think of that. But the point of the post is: when were doing an intimate act with the one we love, we close our eyes and/or darken the room. To stop potential distractions, so we can focus on one another.
So with that in mind, why (especially now days) we don't do things similar? Like why follow celebrities, or "hot" people? Why look at other people and let them creep into your mind? That to me is a distraction and can caused you to subconsciously distance yourself from your SO emotionally, because in a why it's like you're (SUBCONTIOUSLY) trying to find or seek someone better. Even if that's not what you're really doing, the fact you're allowing them to take a part of your time, mind, interest, you aren't really focusing on the person you're currently with.

@londonbr1dg3 You're saying social media is distracting us from our SO?

in a way. i’m not saying it as a fact. it’s something i’ve thought about. i’m a deep thinker. i think a lot. and i question a lot. it’s not a fact. it’s a theory. but it brings up a good point. if we close our eyes to feel closer snd focus better when we kiss or have sex (like turning off the lights) don’t you think social media, or lust, impure thoughts even for a second, shop talk abd of the like fall under the Category of distractions?@SinlessOnslaught

@SinlessOnslaught and I don’t mean social media all together. I mean like content people follow. Like for me. I’m with someone. I don’t follow models. Or sexual content or anything like that. Because I want my focus on my man.

@londonbr1dg3 Yes. You're extremely intelligent.

@londonbr1dg3 And for once I'm not being sarcastic.

@SinlessOnslaught thank you :)

@londonbr1dg3 You expressed the ability to take a principle from one topic and apply it to another. That's a rare skill.

You should see me when I go on rants. I take in everything. I see all sides. I told my man last night. It’s hard for me to argue against something. Because even when I’m not for it. I can understand it.I love thinking and seeing both sides. All angles. Question things no one else does. @SinlessOnslaught

@londonbr1dg3 I'm the same way lol. One person makes an argument and I'm like, "You know, you have a point." Then another person makes an argument and I'm like, "...You know, you also have a point."
