@FlowersInHerHair He is. We’ve opened our home to him with the heat climbing like it’s been doing, but it’s a process and still giving him ample opportunities to continue on his journey if he wishes to do so. But he didn’t return for over a day this past week and when he came back we could tell he had been through something. He barely wagged his tail, had a small scar on his nose, and slept the whole day away so I’m a bit more guarded of him now. Was back to his usual self after that but he’s been refraining from venturing off so I’ll start training him with a harness to see if he really wants to call this home. Just trying to let my head lead me with all this instead of my heart.

@PerfectionOfTheHeart I know the battle your fighting inside. Perhaps something greater than both your head and your heart led him down your path? Whatever the reason, he trusts you and feels safe. That’s what’s important right now. 🤗
