A few of us were here before browsing and surfing was a thing so you shouldn't rule out there being a handful of people about these bits and bytes that know a little more about you than you might think they do, mz nsa.

@SteelHands true true. but there are people who just make wild assumptions about me that arent true. like that I'm unemployed and shit lol

SW-User
@NoahB I've had the same experience. People have entirely misjudged me to the point I don't know whether to laugh or be angry.

@SW-User yeah. i think it comes out especially when people are upset or disagree with something youre telling them. They have a stock character in their head of a dumb lazy guy and they project it unto you when you talk to them. I assume its because they feel subconsciously cornered so they just do the classic "imagine them in their underwear" trick except its, "Imagine them as a really stupid lazy guy with severe character flaws. thats the only reason anyone would ever disagree with ME"

@NoahB The adulation of servitude, being part of a collective, wage slavery is a distinctly female construct.
It works in a family oriented society but it's a worst case condition under tyranny because it renders wage slaves as absolute slaves.
Something you may need to know going forward.

@SteelHands ? What prompted this?

SW-User
@NoahB Or it could be that you remind them of someone IRL who disagreed with them about the same thing (a coworker, neighbor or family) and they project that image onto you.[c=004A59]I.e., "I hated my dad and you sound just like my dad" -- that sort of thing.
Anyway, it's aggravating to spend so much time composing a post or response just to have someone not really hear you out.[/c]

@NoahB I homed on the unempl bs because over the years I've been in that spot myself and have also known e a lot of other guys in that one and we figured it out.
@SW-User Oh. Yep. This feeds into an entire galaxy of human flaws having to do with prejudicial opinions based on personal experiences. It's also proof that a person that does it often says more about themselves than they do about the person they're talking about.
