is it a wise idea to put your email address on your youtube page

and is there an option to do this? or is it not wise because i'm leaving my email account vulnerable to getting hacked or floodedwith spam? ive saw other users list their email addresses in their channels, so i was assuming its safe and a done...

A lot of people make an email specially for their YouTube channel. Keeps it separate from the personal one.

I am not sure the vulnerability is less if you do or do not, since you have a Channel that is a risk you must mitigate anyways, so prepare for the possibility by prevention.
