@pink,

I always look through profile too, but much don't. I'm gay, but I just don't see the point in having your sexuality presented. That's what groups are for, and if people don't want to take the time to look through my groups to see that then I don't need to talk to them lol

[c=#BF0080]That's actually an excellent idea! I'm tired of girls asking me if I swing that way lol.. 🙄[/c]

@Rasberry As SoulAsylum has stated this really isn't a dating site but the heart kinda wants what the heart wants. This is the suggestion that the team has received....

██ Complete User Profiles

The "Complete User Profiles" from the development list include a section for profile comments (known on EP as a whiteboard).

Suggestions without feedback:
- Add relationship status (single, married, seperated, divorced, and widowed)
- Add sexual preferences (hetero, lesbian, gay, asexual)

[c=#BF0080]Nah, a lot of people don't read the "about me" as someone said.. I do though. I think it's a great idea.. but make it so people can keep it blank if they chose to.[/c]

@SoulAsylum It's something they're including and yes my sexuality does affect my experiences. Sexuality isn't all about dating. :/
Raspberry · 31-35, T
It's not about me, it's about it being listed as a potential profile addition (again, not suggested by me) but excludes major groups of people.

Also I'm asexual. I was happy to see that there.

None of this is personally offensive to me. No worries. (I'm highly amused by people who are offended by it though - cool your jets my dude.) Just pointing out a couple things I saw on the potential features page.

Well this isn't a dating website so that shouldn't be necessary.

@Raspberry
- Add relationship status (single, married, seperated, divorced, and widowed)
- Add sexual preferences (hetero, lesbian, gay, asexual)

That doesn't include bisexuals or people in a relationship. That's exactly what I'm commenting on.
I'll add it

@pink, no it's not supposed to be a sex site. That's what groups are for. If this becomes a site mainly focused on sex, then it will go the same way as EP, and decent people will leave.

You can add your sex identifier (if one so wishes) into your "about me" feature.
Jessa29 · 36-40, FMod
@Carissimi I think what Raspberry wants is a way to say that she is bi and just not straight.

@Raspberry I hope I didn't offend you.

@Everyone but this also could be stated in the about me section (if wanted)
I got to agree with asylum, most people don't bother even looking through profiles anyway, so it would be rather pointless.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
@Raspberry, I'm with SoulAsylum on this. If your sexuality affects your experiences there are groups for that.

We don't need a sexual identifier as well as a gender identifier. Why does it have to be always about sex. Isn't Trans (T) enough.

I hope SW doesn't start making our identity sexual. I'm tired of this. You don't see straight people asking for straight identifiers. Just post in the appropriate group.

[c=#BF0080]Carissimi I think everyone uses this site in different ways and for different reasons. Besides, isn't this site about 80% sex related? I'm all for identifiers.. and I'm STRAIGHT.[/c]
[c=#BF0080]eekimnaked I always look through profiles.. besides it'll be better once the profiles are complete.[/c]
[c=#BF0080]That's why I mentioned being able to leave it blank.. that way it suits everyone. [/c]
