Thank you for your post. However, unfortunately it was a bit "too broad" :)
Could you please clarify why is it hard to browse the website? Is there anything in specific that you would suggest change?
Regarding exploring by categories, you can do that on the Stories and Questions pages. If you go to the bottom of the pages, you'll see categories that you can press and filter stories for them.

@marcusaurelius Agree! Ironically, its just a site with lots of boring stuffs, that users seek to cure boredom ,right 😁
