Network Issues on Similar Worlds

Hello,

For several minutes, all our servers were very slow and unresponsive, due to a network outage.
(everything is ok with the servers and with your data)

It appears to be a wider issue, not just impacting Similar Worlds.

Our network team is currently looking into this.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

[b]UPDATE May 8 - We're having problems again, unfortunately. We're actively looking at what we can do about this.[/b]

I noticed.

The message should say SW is off line not me. It suggests I am at fault.

Not all sites use this type of message which is trying to shift the blame.

Own it.

@KiwiBird I agree that that message isn't the best. We'll change it so that it says something like "either you're offline, or we're having a problem in our side", or similar.

@Dlrannie yeah-but I suspect the current issues are outside of SWs control.Still it’s like R2T.That used to disappear a lot 😅

@Dlrannie This network outage has absolutely nothing to do with the improvements we make. These are due to network attacks (DDoS), which would happen even if we didn't make any updates.
