@Classified true... I won't reveal which financial institution actually once declared to me that was essentially their process. That was at the point after the upgrade when of course something won't boot up properly.

You know that feeling in your stomach as the lift free falls... Yep had that.

@Classified another classic was another bank storing tapes offsite, great, in an old underground tunnel directly under Thames... 🤦‍♂️

My best ever though is 1982 I was a trainee sent to see why some guy couldn't retrieve his backups. CPM Z80 machine, old 7" floppy discs, when they were floppy!

He pulls down a ring binder, all the sections divided with dates. Well organised, but he'd hole punched the discs to put them in the folder 🤨
