I've never used Snapchat at all. I don't use certain apps simply because I know most of my classmates do. Plus some ask for your actual name, I would like to stay anonymous on most sites and not use my name. Hate having to figure out something that I filled out an account for isn't what I wanted and then needing to go change it.

@KandiGhostcat Well, you can be anonymous on this site. Whether or not you want to reveal your indentity to people is up to your decision. SW is technically where you can connect to people online while being anonymous

@sighmeupforthat I think we’re having some misinterpretation here. What CountScrofula meant was when something becomes a fad, people pretend to dislike it because they think it makes them interesting and different from others

Caused massive slowdowns on my phone (Android), shortened battery life sensibly, crashed frequently. The more they updated it, the worse it got. The app tries to come across as "privacy friendly" because (in the case of inexpert users) it'll *hide* (not even delete) whatever you send once it's been seen; people fail to realize that whatever is seen can be saved (permanently) or even shared/reposted/copied, no matter how hard you try to avoid it happening. Last but not least, like Instagram over here, it attracts a lot of attention seekers and superficial/fake people I'm trying to avoid even IRL, no point in having them pop on my phone. So yeah, in conclusion, I've uninstalled and I'm still avoiding it altogether.

@SW-User I guess you are right about people hating Snapchat itself...I mean, I can think of people that would even hate the app. But, yeah, I think most of us just have this issue.

@SW-User use tenor.com that site always works for gif. Click on gif you want, it opens in a window, click on it again to bring up copy link to clipboard. Then on here use the upload photo icon and paste the copied link in url/link
