In all seriousness though - I guess it wasn't down during the five minutes a week I spend on there.

No problem for me - I did have more productive things to do. I don't and won't use Facebook anyway!

I didn't even know it had failed for several hours until mentioned on the News this morning.

The managers had not yet found the cause, but I am curious what sort of fault would have that effect world-wide. Is Facebook lodged on a single server?

Did FB go down? If it did it's shame it didn't go away for good.
