@Epic Ugh, I know what you mean. Some of the people were disgusting. I had to ream out one guy for having the gall to tell a woman that getting raped was her fault and that she's and idiot and stuff. Second most angry I've ever been in my life. And yeah, I'm fine with the read only mode. I don't need to go tromping around on there since no one would listen anyway.

@Mustang Awesome! It was a fantastic place overall, despite the detritus that EpicFail and many of us encountered. It certainly shaped me, I can tell you that. And being so young (relatively) it's certainly guided my future. At 22, I never thought I'd be at the point mentally that I am right now. Here's to SW and it's communal promise! 🍻

Mr Tim, yep it was my first online home too. And it ended up helping me deal with an issue that had been troubling me for years. But I think this SW will be a good replacement. Very glad that they started this.

There isn't a lot there really... Just a few stray dogs sniffing from scraps.

Last time I was there I was reading stuff and it made me mad that people are so stupid.. One lady was complaining that her husband was sleeping with his nine year old daughter instead of with her. And I was like wft? And it made me mad.. It's read only mode.. You can't tell people off about how moronicly stupid they are.. But just stuff like that infuriates me.. It's just wrong and stupid on so many levels

EP might look dead, but in one group, medical history was being made.
EP gave people like me a place to discuss how an RX drug had caused a condition, called Tardive dyskinesia.
The common factor:
We were never given any warning that certain RX drugs could destroy our nervous system, by giving us permanent movement disorders.
I didn't want those complaints and discussions to die, so it gave me the option to send it to FaceBook.
I told my friends that this was for my personal information, and I'm sure you don't want to read these sad stories. When you tell someone not to look, they will.
So you see, it's all how you look at EP, and what it meant to you.

It is very difficult to get back to into EP. I did get in a few times by looking up "Boshie's Profile at the Experience Project. It worked for awhile, but for some reason, it stopped.

At epic I choose to keep things simple..I don't interact with just anyone.. block me.. I keep same name always so people no who they are interacting with.

EP was my first and only safe haven too what made EP so special and different was that it wasn't like most social media and it broke my heart that we all had to find a new home, now I am content here at SW I think this place is somewhat better than EP at doing their job I think EP's downfall was not filtering out the toxic people there. I don't miss those EP freaks writing their disgusting fantasies, EP Trolls or EPAllie at all! but minus them I loved how I had a place to talk about my problems and grow with people. Applies to me, Answermug, and R2T especially weren't cutting it. It's a slight chance but I am hoping that the EP team is just fixing up stuff and come back.
