I dunno if I was being blocked I might like someone to message me and explain why, but then I guess I would be annoyed that I could not respond to agree or disagree. Yeah I think just muting is kinder.

I can't seem to understand why people do that either. It's like if you want to block me go ahead and block me, there is no reason as to why you should tell me that you are blocking me .. it's almost as if you want them to respond back to you begging you to not block them .. LOL, it's also easier too if you are just aren't interested in having a conversation with someone then simply do not respond.

I had that very same thing happen to me a few days after I joined this site. Left a nasty stupid message and blocked me before I could even say anything back.

Blocking is like anything, it can have a legitimate and useful function, but then it can be abused and the latter definitely seems to occur a lot.

In their mind they feel that they get the last laugh 😆.

The block feature keeps the site usable for everyone. The ones that feel the need to send a message to block are pathetic losers with no power over their own lives so think that it empowers them to get the last word. Pity them and mock them.
