@TheRascallyOne Actually, it's more like What's App or Signal. Telegram is one of those "End to end encryption" messaging apps that allow you to text people overseas without needing to the roaming/overseas charges you'd get from normal texting and/or calling.
Much like What's App and Signal, Telegram also allows you to have group chats with multiple people in it. Although to be fair I've mostly only ever used What's App because 1. my family is all iPhone users and I'm an Android user so I need it to video call my family and 2. One of my sisters lives overseas and I can't text her normally.
So I've never used Signal or Telegram but from what I've heard about them, they're essentially both like What's App.
