I need to sleep tonight

Something has got to give, no doctor, no therapist, no nurse, no specialist, chatgpt not one of them can figure out why I can't sleep.

I'm furesrated and I know it's affecting my health, work and family. I really don't know what else to try. I've tried everything.

Sorry rant over

My buddy is coming home again tonight. Star had a good afternoon. Her fever was gone and they sat her up most of the evening. They want her to stand up by Friday. Even if only for a few minutes. Family meeting is planned for Saturday afternoon.

We had grilled chicken wraps and fresh fruit salad for dinner. It's very cold so we're watching a movie our oldest boys choice tonight by the fire and we're going to have root beer floats.

After the kids are in bed cigars whiskey and please let me sleep 😴

Take 10mg melatonin (over the counter) an hour before you want to sleep. No whiskey or cigars, though. You need to find another way to relax. Read or watch something boring. You need to de-stimulate your body and mind.

@MsSwan I've tried that on and off for years and it's never really helped me. I don't know if I could up my nightly cigar and whiskey. My partner drinks with me and he falls asleep with no issues
@Cigarguy I know, but it doesn't affect him the same way. I'm not saying you should give it up forever. Maybe just for a little while so you can see if it helps you to get some rest.

@MsSwan at this point I might try it. I love cigars but I can't keep this up.
