I don't smoke so almost the only one I remember, and that only because Dad bought them decades ago, is Players - made in his home town of Nottingham. too.
The packets bore the snappy slogan Players Please
There was also a Senior Service - I think a separate make not a Players brand. The packets carried a small portrait of an old-time Royal Navy sailor smoking a pipe, I think. (The RN's nickname is the "Senior Service".)
About the only other brands I can name are the American-made Marlborough and the two French ones, Gitanes and Gauloise. Plus Virginia rolling, and Clan pipe, tobaccoes.
That's about all though!
Another reason I know so few is I see hardly any! For quite some years now all tobacco products have had to be sold from behind-the-counter cabinets, with no open displays, and little or no advertising; sports organisations no longer carry tobacco-company sponsorship and advertising - and as far fewer people smoke tobacco nowadays you don't see so many packets about either.
Dad very occasionally brought another "brand" home from sometimes working aboard Royal Naval vessels or in RN bases as a civilian contractor. There he seemed able to buy cigarettes in plain packets bearing no commercial brand name, just a statement of being for sale to RN personnel only.

@eyeno Some of them might be UK only. Lucky Strike and Marlboro were everywhere. Some others that I can remember advertising for in the 60s....Strand and Perfectos

I smoked some 5 brands from the thrifty college days to the relatively rich work life days.
But can remember at least 15 brands. Mostly local to my country.

When I was little, cigarette ads were on television.
Since nobody in my immediate family smoked, my memories are mainly from those commercials.
Kent
Marlboro
Lucky Strike
Salem
Winston
Raleigh
And later on:
Benson and Hedges
Virginia Slims
